This 4” x 4” painting of a dragonfly eye, although small, captures the extreme detail and patterns of the lenses in the insect’s eyes. This precision was tough to capture but the struggle made the result so much more special. As with the other pieces in the series, gold leaf accents the piece incredibly well and is really something to see in person.
