I decided to paint a wolf for this piece because the only other member of the canine family that I have painted so far is a fox. I really liked how that one turned out, so I decided to paint an Arctic wolf. I love how the yellows and grays turned out in the fur and adding highlights in the eye was very enjoyable as well.
