when I was looking into animal references, this puffin stood out to me. While its eye already has a gold-ish color, the shadow in the eye looked purple. The rest of the colors around the eye is saturated too but, as you look at more of the bird’s head, you find a large variety of hues you wouldn’t expect in these mostly black and white birds.
